How to buy Amazon Echo devices for international shipping

A few weeks ago, I posted a blog post about where and how to buy Amazon Echo devices for international shipping. For those of us — some of my European readers who are not yet familiar with ordering from Amazon.de (Germany), I would like to dig a little bit deeper on how to order and ship those Amazon Echo devices to European countries.

However, before I go any further, I would like to update you on ordering and shipping Amazon Echo devices to UK, Ireland, and the Netherlands. Please also note when you place an order on Amazon.co.uk and select an EU delivery address your package will be subjected to customs duties, taxes, and fees (“Import Fees”).

Now let’s go ahead and continue with the main subject of this blog post, and I would also like to emphasize the fact that you are now able to buy Amazon Echo devices International Version with EU power adaptor from Amazon.de, but please take into consideration the followings:

  • Shipping to: Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden.
  • Select devices: Echo Dot (3rd Generation), Echo (3rd Generation), and Echo Plus with built-in Hub.
  • Supported languages: English and German (skills availability varies by country and language).
  • Buy from: Amazon.de (Germany).
  • Amazon.de website is available in 6 different languages, including German, English, Dutch, Polish, Turkish and Czech.

It goes without saying that you will need to have an Amazon account to order and ship your Amazon Echo devices to your country in Europe. In case that you don’t have your own Amazon account yet, you can easily create one right here. Of course, you can edit your addresses, your payment options, and so on by going to your Amazon account.

Ordering Amazon Echo devices from Amazon.de is as easy as ordering other stuff that you usually do from Amazon websites. One should remember though that the Amazon.de website is available in 6 different languages, including German, English, Dutch, Polish, Turkish, and Czech. So if you don’t speak German quite well or at all, then I would recommend the followings:

How to order and ship Amazon Echo devices to European countries

1. Click on the tiny globe icon (with DE on top of it) to set your preferred language (see image above). For this tutorial, I will be setting my preferred language to English.

2. Sign in to Amazon.de using your Amazon account.

3. Select your Amazon Echo devices: Echo Dot (3rd Generation), Echo (3rd Generation), and Echo Plus with built-in Hub. For this tutorial, I’ll be ordering an Amazon Echo Plus with built-in Hub.

4. Click on the Echo Plus with built-in Hub – Black, and then click on the “Add to Basket” button to continue.

5. Click on the “Shopping Basket”, and then click on the “Proceed to Checkout” button to continue.

6. Select your delivery address. Optionally, you can edit your delivery address to your most current one. For this tutorial, I’ll be selecting my Dutch address. Click on the “Deliver to this address” button.

You can also edit or add more payment options. Click on the “Continue” button to continue and review your order before it is final.
