I remember the time when I had either wait for a few months, sometimes a whole year until the newest Kindle e-reader had been released, to be able to order its previous one as International version, or use MyUS.com to order a newest Kindle e-reader for international shipping from Amazon.com (US), and ship it to the Netherlands.

Although using MyUS.com to order Kindle e-readers for international shipping from Amazon.com is still a workable option, especially if you insist on ordering the newest Kindle e-readers and other US-only stuff, but now I would like to show you how to order Kindle E-readers for European shipping from both Amazon.co.uk (UK) and Amazon.de (Germany).

Note: In the past, I used (suspended) Borderlinx, which is why I use and recommend you to use MyUS.com and save up to 80% on shipping from the USA, including Amazon.com.

In this first part of this two-part blog post (read the second part here – shipping from Amazon.de Germany), I will show you how to order Kindle E-readers for European shipping from Amazon.co.uk (UK). When you are planning to order a Kindle e-reader from Amazon.co.uk and ship it to your home country in Europe, please take into account the followings:

• Shipping to European countries: Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Gibraltar, Hungary, Ireland*, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden and UK*.
• Select Kindle e-readers: Kindle – Black or White (Without Special Offers), and Kindle Paperwhite (Without Special Offers).
• Order from: Amazon.co.uk (UK).

How to order Kindle E-readers for European shipping from Amazon.co.uk (UK)

For this tutorial, I will be ordering a Kindle Paperwhite – Wifi-Only – Without Special Offers, and I will be shipping it to my Swedish address. So, let’s go ahead and order one as follows:

1. Go to Amazon.co.uk website and log-in using your Amazon account.

2. Go to Kindle e-readers page on Amazon.co.uk website.

3. Choose your preferred Kindle from these select Kindle e-readers: Kindle – Black or White (Without Special Offers), or Kindle Paperwhite (Without Special Offers).

4. Choose your preferred color of Kindle e-reader: Black or White, and then choose your preferred connectivity: WiFi-Only or WiFi + Free 3G (see image above). As mentioned earlier, I will be ordering a Kindle Paperwhite – WiFi-Only – Without Special Offers.

Please note that the “Offer Type” option is not an option for you because currently you have only 3 select Kindle e-readers to choose from: Kindle – Black or White (Without Special Offers), and/or Kindle Paperwhite (Without Special Offers).

5. Click on the “Add to Basket” button to continue (see image above). You’ll be prompted with Kindle accessories to add to your order, which is entirely optional. Click on the “Continue” button to continue.

6. Click on the “Proceed to Checkout” button to directly proceed to checkout, or if you want to shop around first on Amazon.co.uk, you can do so, and then ….

7. Go to the “Basket” page and click on the “Proceed to Checkout” button (see image above), and you’ll be prompted to select your preferred delivery address. Click on the “Deliver to this address” button to continue.

8. Choose your delivery option on the “Choose your delivery options” page, which is not exactly a choice because you will be offered the one and only option, the “Standard Delivery”. Click on the “Continue” button to continue.

9. Select your preferred payment method on the “Select a payment method” page, enter your Gift Cards & Promotional Codes if you have one. Click on the “Continue” button to continue.

10. Check and double-check whether your delivery address and payment method are correct on the “Review your order” page. Optionally, you can also add gift options, select your payment currency and so on. Click on the “Pay in GBP” button to finalize your order (see image above).

That’s it, all you have to do now is wait until your Kindle e-reader arrives.
